NYPD (New York City Police Department lub New York Police Department) – policja w amerykańskim mieście Nowy Jork. Założona została w 1845 roku; wzorowano ją na londyńskiej policji metropolitalnej.
Jest najliczniejszą policją w Stanach Zjednoczonych, choć w ostatnich latach liczba funkcjonariuszy systematycznie spada. W 2000 roku szeregi NYPD liczyły 41 440 mundurowych, w 2010 roku było ich 34 500. Obecnie w szeregach cywilnych NYPD jest 5000 agentów ochrony szkół (School Safety Agents), 4500 rezerwowych oficerów policji (Auxiliary Police Officers) i 2700 agentów drogówki (Traffic Enforcement Agents).
Nowojorscy policjanci są nazywani New York’s Finest.
Związkiem zawodowym reprezentującym nowojorską policję jest Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York (NYC PBA).
Obecnie komisarzem NYPD jest James P. O’Neill, a szefem departamentu jest Terence Monahan.

The flag of Navassa Island is simply the United States flag. It does not have a "local" flag or "unofficial" flag; it is an uninhabited island. The version with a profile view was based on Flags of the World and as a fictional design has no status warranting a place on any Wiki. It was made up by a random person with no connection to the island, it has never flown on the island, and it has never received any sort of recognition or validation by any authority. The person quoted on that page has no authority to bestow a flag, "unofficial" or otherwise, on the island.
