200 m stylem grzbietowym kobiet – jedna z konkurencji pływackich rozgrywanych podczas XIX Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Meksyku. Eliminacje i finał odbyły się 25 października 1968 roku.
W tej debiutującej na igrzyskach olimpijskich konkurencji zwyciężyła Amerykanka Lillian Watson, ustanawiając w finale nowy rekord olimpijski (2:24,8). Kanadyjka Elaine Tanner, która zdobyła srebrny medal na 100 m stylem grzbietowym, na dystansie dwukrotnie dłuższym również była druga z czasem 2:27,4. Mistrzyni olimpijska w konkurencji 100 m grzbietem, Kaye Hall ze Stanów Zjednoczonych, uzyskała czas 2:28,9 i zajęła trzecie miejsce.
Kilka godzin wcześniej, rekord olimpijski ustanawiały kolejno: Kaye Hall (2:31,1), Elaine Tanner (2:30,9) i Lillian Watson (2:29,2).
