Pereira

Pereira – miasto w środkowej Kolumbii, w Kordylierze Środkowej (Andy), na wysokości 1467 metrów, przy Drodze Panamerykańskiej, ośrodek administracyjny departamentu Risaralda. Około 392 tys. mieszkańców.

W mieście rozwinął się przemysł materiałów budowlanych, chemiczny oraz obuwniczy[1].

Escudo partido en diagonal, con una rana de oro estilizada sobre campo superior de gules. En campo inferior de sinople, tres diestras, en color natural. En la bordura, al pié, dos gajos, uno de cafeto y otro de laurel; el medio sol y las dos coronas condales fueron tomadas parcialmente del antiguo escudo del antiguo Cartago, que le fue otorgado a la "Ciudad de Robledo" por el Emperador Carlos V.[1]
