Rywalizacja w wadze do 60 kg mężczyzn w podnoszeniu ciężarów na Letnich Igrzyskach Olimpijskich 1936 odbyła się w sierpnia 1936 roku w hali Deutschlandhalle. W rywalizacji wystartowało 21 zawodników z 13 krajów. Tytułu sprzed czterech lat nie obronił Francuz Raymond Suvigny, który tym razem nie startował. Nowym mistrzem olimpijskim został Tony Terlazzo z USA, srebrny medal wywalczył Egipcjanin Salih Sulajman, a trzecie miejsce zajął jego rodak - Ibrahim Szams.
