Rywalizacja w wadze do 56 kg mężczyzn w podnoszeniu ciężarów na Letnich Igrzyskach Olimpijskich 1952 odbyła się 25 lipca 1952 roku w hali Messuhalli. W rywalizacji wystartowało 19 zawodników z 18 krajów. Tytułu sprzed czterech lat nie obronił Joseph DePietro z USA, który nie startował. Nowym mistrzem olimpijskim został Iwan Udodow z ZSRR, srebrny medal wywalczył Irańczyk Mahmud Namdżu, a trzecie miejsce zajął jego rodak - Ali Mirzaji.
