Rywalizacja w wadze do 91 kg mężczyzn w podnoszeniu ciężarów na Letnich Igrzyskach Olimpijskich 1996 odbyła się 27 lipca 1996 roku w hali Georgia World Congress Center. W rywalizacji wystartowało 25 zawodników z 22 krajów. Tytułu sprzed czterech lat nie obronił reprezentujący w 1996 roku Grecję Akakios Kachiaswilis, który tym razem startował w innej kategorii wagowej. Nowym mistrzem olimpijskim został Rosjanin Aleksiej Pietrow, srebrny medal wywalczył Leonidas Kokas z Grecji, a trzecie miejsce zajął Niemiec Oliver Caruso.
