Polish American Historical Association

Polish American Historical Association – stowarzyszenie naukowe historyków poświęcone badaniu polskiej historii i kultury w USA.

Historia i działalność

Pierwotnie było częścią Polskiego Instytutu Naukowego w Ameryce. PIN stał się wkrótce niezależną organizacją. W dniu 11 września 1942, historyk Oskar Halecki zaproponował oddzielenie obu instytucji. Pierwszym prezesem stowarzyszenia został Mieczysław Haiman. Od 1944 roku Polish American Historical Association publikuje czasopismo "Polish American Studies". Od 2017 roku prezesem jest dr Anna Mazurkiewicz[1].
