Accompanying the dignitaries is the Commander of Troops for the ceremony Lt. Col. Mark Armstrong. The full honor arrival ceremony was just the start to a busy morning which included meetings with Cohen and other senior Department of Defense officials and a press conference. Romania is an active participant in NATO's Partnership for Peace programs and is directing its efforts towards achieving full NATO membership at some point in the future.
