Puchar CECAFA (ang. CECAFA Cup) – najstarszy turniej piłkarski w Afryce. Rozgrywki organizowane są przez FIFA i Radę Afryki Wschodniej i Środkowej, a biorą w nich udział drużyny narodowe Afryki Środkowej oraz Afryki Wschodniej (Kenia, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Etiopia, Erytrea, Zanzibar, Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi oraz Dżibuti). W latach 2005-06 turniej był sponsorowany przez etiopsko-saudyjskiego biznesmena - Szejka Mohammed Al Amoudiego i nazywany był Al Amoudi Senior Challenge Cup[1].
Jest to następca Pucharu Gossage (37 edycji w latach 1926-66) oraz Pucharu Afryki Wschodniej i Środkowej (7 edycji w latach 1965-71).
Puchar Gossage
Puchar Gossage był rozgrywany pomiędzy Kenią, Ugandą, Tanganiką i Zanzibarem. Tanganika dołączyła w roku 1945, natomiast Zanzibar w 1949. Rozgrywki były sponsorowane przez producenta mydła Gossage.
