Rhynchostruthus – rodzaj ptaków z rodziny łuszczakowatych (Fringillidae).
Występowanie
Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące w Azji i Afryce[3].
Morfologia
Długość ciała 14–15 cm, masa ciała 23–39 g[4].
Systematyka
Etymologia
Nazwa rodzajowa jest połączeniem słów z języka greckiego: ῥυγχος rhunkhos – „dziób” oraz στρουθος strouthos – „wróbel”[5].
Podział systematyczny
Do rodzaju należą następujące gatunki[6]:
- Rhynchostruthus socotranus – złotopiórek sokotrzański
- Rhynchostruthus louisae – złotopiórek somalijski – takson wyodrębniony z R. socotranus[7][8][9][4]
- Rhynchostruthus percivali – złotopiórek arabski – takson wyodrębniony z R. socotranus[7][8][9][4]
