Richborough – miejscowość w Anglii, w hrabstwie Kent, w dystrykcie Dover. Leży 17 km na wschód od miasta Canterbury i 104 km na wschód od centrum Londynu[1]. Za czasów imperium rzymskiego leżało po południowej stronie kanału Wantsum. Uznane jako miejsce lądowania Rzymian podczas inwazji Brytanii w 43 n.e., później stało się portem z fortyfikacjami.

Richborough castle The ruins of Richborough castle are all that remain of a Roman fort built in AD275. Some of the walls and defensive ditches give a clue to the size of the imposing fort which was once the launch pad for the Romans' invasion of Britain.
