Richard Vincent „Richie” Guerin (ur. 29 maja 1932 w Nowym Jorku) – amerykański koszykarz, obrońca, wielokrotnie wybierany do meczu gwiazd NBA oraz składów najlepszych zawodników NBA[1]. Członek Koszykarskiej Galerii Sław[2].
Jako nastolatek uczęszczał do akademii wojskowej w Bronksie. W latach 1947-1954 widniał na liście korpusu piechoty morskiej. W latach 1950-1954 uczęszczał do Iona College, gdzie występował w tamtejszej drużynie akademickiej, notując średnio 19,9 punktu[3]. Po ukończeniu studiów został wybrany w drugiej rundzie draftu NBA z numerem 17. przez New York Knicks. Zaraz po wyborze był zobowiązany odsłużyć dwa lata w korpusie marines jako drugi porucznik(ang.) (polski odpowiednik to podporucznik).

New Rochelle, New York - Former Marine Corps first lieutenant and retired NBA player, Richie Guerin, jokes with Marines of Recruiting Station Albany, 1st Marine Corps District, after the retiring of his jersey at halftime of the Manhattan Jaspers vs. the Iona Gaels game at Iona College, New Rochelle, N.Y., Jan. 31. Guerin served in the Marine Corps Reserves from 1947 to 1954, during which he attended Iona College where he scored 1,375 points in only 67 games. Upon his graduation he served on active duty for two years. In 1954, while still on active duty, Guerin was drafted, in the second round, by the New York Knicks where he eventually became known as one of the most talented and beloved player to ever wear a Knicks jersey. He retired from the NBA in 1967 and now resides in Palm Beach, Fla., with his wife, Pat. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Caleb Gomez).
