1 stycznia 2016 roku połączono 3 wcześniejsze gminy: Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët, Saint-Martin-de-Landelles oraz Virey. Siedzibą gminy została miejscowość Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët, a nowa gmina przyjęła jej nazwę[2].
