W dniu 1 stycznia 2016 roku z połączenia sześciu ówczesnych gmin – Bricquebec, Les Perques, Quettetot, Saint-Martin-le-Hébert, Le Valdécie oraz Le Vrétot – utworzono nową gminę Bricquebec-en-Cotentin. Siedzibą gminy została miejscowość Bricquebec[2].
