W dniu 1 stycznia 2016 roku z połączenia trzech ówczesnych gmin – Parpeçay, Sainte-Cécile oraz Varennes-sur-Fouzon – utworzono nową gminę Val-Fouzon. Siedzibą gminy została miejscowość Varennes-sur-Fouzon^[2].
