W ciągu sięgającej lat 60. kariery nagrywał zarówno jako lider, jak i sideman, m.in. z Rabihem Abou-Khalilem, George’em Bensonem, Milesem Davisem, Elvinem Jonesem, Pharoah Sandersem, Mongo Santamaríą, Leonem Spencerem i McCoyem Tynerem^[3][7][8].
