Southwest Airlines – amerykańska tania linia lotnicza z siedzibą w Dallas, w Teksasie. Jest największą linią lotniczą na świecie pod względem przewiezionych pasażerów na lotach krajowych. Obsługuje przede wszystkim połączenia krajowe w Stanach Zjednoczonych w systemie point to point, nie posiada hubu głównego. Linia lotnicza została założona w 1967 roku jako Air Southwest przez prawnika Herba Kellehera, rozpoczynając działalność operacyjną w 1971 roku jako Southwest Airlines. W 2019 roku zatrudniała 60 590 pracowników i obsługiwała ok. 4000 lotów dziennie w szczycie sezonu[1].
Flota
Southwest jest największym na świecie operatorem Boeinga 737. W maju 2020 roku we flocie przewoźnika znajdowało się łącznie 740 maszyn.
