Karabin małokalibrowy trzy postawy, 50 m to jedna w siedmiu konkurencji strzeleckich rozgrywanych podczas igrzysk olimpijskich w 1952 w Helsinkach. Wystartowało 44 zawodników z 25 krajów.
Rozegrano tylko rundę finałową 29 lipca. Rezultaty z konkurencji karabinu małokalibrowego w postawie leżącej zostały zaliczone do tej konkurencji, a następnie strzelcy oddawali strzały w postawie klęczącej i stojącej[1].
Konkurencja ta po raz pierwszy została rozegrana na igrzyskach olimpijskich.

Wyniki
Każdy ze strzelców oddawał 120 strzałów, po 40 w pozycji leżącej (w ramach odrębnej konkurencji), 40 w pozycji klęczącej i 40 w pozycji stojąc. Erling Kongshaug i Vilho Ylönen uzyskali ten sam rezultat 1164 punktów. O zwycięstwie Kongshauga zadecydowała większa liczba trafień w centralny punkt tarczy – 53:49[1].
