Strzelanie z karabinu małokalibrowego w pozycji leżącej z 50 metrów mężczyzn – konkurencja rozegrana 12 sierpnia 2016 roku podczas letnich igrzysk w Rio de Janeiro[1].
W kwalifikacjach wystąpiło 47 zawodników, którzy oddali po 60 strzałów w pozycji leżącej. Ośmiu z najwyższą sumą punktów awansowało do finałowej rundy.
W rundzie finałowej każdy finalista miał dodatkowe 10 strzałów. Miejsca przyznawane były w kolejności od najwyższej ilości zdobytych punktów. Najwyższa możliwa punktacja w pojedynczym strzale wynosiła 10,9 punktu.
Złoty medal zdobył Niemiec Henri Junghänel, srebrny – Koreańczyk Kim Jong-hyun, a brązowy – Rosjanin Kiriłł Grigorjan.
