Życiorys

Bergmeister rozpoczął karierę w międzynarodowych wyścigach samochodowych w 1998 roku od startów w Niemieckiej Formule Ford 1800, gdzie odniósł jedno zwycięstwo. Został sklasyfikowany na szóstej pozycji w klasyfikacji generalnej. W późniejszych latach Niemiec pojawiał się także w stawce Niemieckiego Pucharu Porsche Carrera, American Le Mans Series, FIA GT Championship, Porsche Supercup, Grand American Rolex Series, 24h Nürburgring, 24-godzinnego wyścigu Le Mans, VLN Endurance, Le Mans Series, Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, FIA World Endurance Championship, Blancpain Endurance Series oraz United Sports Car Championship .
