Współzałożyciel zespołów Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3 i Fantômas, aktywny w wielu projektach reprezentujących różne style muzyczne: jazz, rock, muzyka klasyczna, muzyka filmowa i metal alternatywny^[1]. Współpracuje często z Johnem Zornem i Mikiem Pattonem.
