Wejście w atmosferę - proces, w którym pojazdy znajdujące się poza atmosferą planety są zdolne do wejścia w nią i osiągnięcia powierzchni w stanie nienaruszonym. Zazwyczaj proces ten wymaga specjalnych metod ochrony przed nagrzewaniem aerodynamicznym.
