Wimbledon 2008 - trzeci w sezonie tenisowy turniej wielkoszlemowy, który odbył się w dniach 23 czerwca – 6 lipca na trawiastych kortach londyńskiego All England Tennis Club. Obrońcami tytułów byli Amerykanka Venus Williams i Szwajcar Roger Federer. Williams powtórzyła ubiegłoroczny rezultat, wygrywając w finale z młodszą siostrą Sereną 7:5, 6:4. Natomiast Federer po pięciosetowym pojedynku przegrał w decydującym spotkaniu z Hiszpanem Rafaelem Nadalem.
Podczas zawodów, na konferencji prasowej Jonas Björkman ogłosił, że po sezonie 2008 kończy karierę sportową. Szwed był niegdyś czwartym tenisistą rankingu singlowego i liderem w grze podwójnej.
