Wklejka
Wklejka – oddzielna, pojedyncza kartka, w formacie równym lub większym od formatu stronicy, wklejona w grzbiecie książki lub czasopisma. Zawiera najczęściej mapę, tabelę czy inny materiał ilustracyjny; może być drukowana jedno- lub dwustronnie, może też się różnić papierem od reszty publikacji (np. wklejka na papierze kredowym w książce wydrukowanej na papierze drukarskim).

Folded woodcut map of Cerknisko Lake and environs, inserted into this work from the 1551 edition by Aquila of this work; cf. the reproduction in P. Simoniti, "The 1551 Herbenstein-Wernher Description of Lake Cerknica," Acta Carsologica 39.1 (2010), p. 150. Simoniti also contends that it is "highly likely that the motif for the woodcut of Lake Cerknica had been drawn by the famous Nürnberg painter, graphic artist and cartographer, Augustin Hirschvogel (1503-1553)" (p. 157).
Penn's copy of De admirandis Hungariae aquis hypomnemation (1551), bought as part of the same transaction as this work (Chorographia Transylvaniae), wants the plate. Rudolf Hirsch conjectures that both of these works were disbound from a Sammelband owned by Sigismund von Herberstein, the dedicatee of De admirandis Hungariae aquis hypomnemation (cf. "Georg Wernher and Sigismund von Herberstein," Gutenberg Jahrbuch (1963), p. 121).
