In 1939 the GM-A body Series F was renamed the Series 60 and the larger GM-B body Series L was renamed either the 6 cyl Series 70 or 8 cyl Series 80. Available in Business or Club Coupes and 2 or 4 door Sedans. In 1940 the Series 60 became the Special, the Series 70 became the Dynamic, the 80 was dropped and replaced by the longer GM-C body Series 90 Custom Cruiser. Convertibles and Wagons were added to the range.
Oldsmobiles were built in Australia from 1923 to 29 and also from 1934 to 48.Fully assembled cars imported in 1949 and 50.
