Opis:

1994 Mercedes-Benz C 180 (W 202) Classic sedan. Although this is listed as the Classic trim level, it has been modified to look more like the Elegance. The orange turn signals integrated into the head and tail lamps (instead of clear) indicate that this is an Esprit or Classic. This car is missing the Elegance’s chrome highlight above the black door handles. Elegance models also featured a chrome highlight above the body coloured side strips and top portion of the bumpers, which this car lacks. Esprit and Classic trims had black plastic side strips without chrome highlights. This car appears to have had its black strips painted aftermarket, reinforced by the lack of chrome highlights and the absence of the trim level badge which would have been removed prior to painting. The alloy wheels appear to be from the Elegance but may have been an option when new for lower trims. Lastly, the beige interior colour scheme suggests this is a Classic as the Esprit had dark interior trim. Photographed in Northcote, Victoria, Australia.
