Unusually clear skies allowed the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite to acquire this image of Aleutian Islands on May 15, 2014. Including the Alaskan peninsula, 52 volcanoes are visible in this scene.
