Opis:
This is the engine from the 1908 Levavasseur Antoinette monoplane, which delivered 60hp. The engine and aeroplane were both designed by Leon Levavasseur. Every cylinder has a separate injection carburettor. The cooling system uses water evaporation in the cylinder jackets. Due to the complexity of the fuel supply and cooling installations, the engine did not gain popularity. It is on display next to a Levavasseur Antionette fuselage, in a building full of unrestored relics at the Muzeum Lotnictwa Polskiego. Krakow, Poland.
