Awaiting some activity Two Police officers on horseback were just waiting around at the west end of the cathedral. Behind them a motorcycle paramedic was also sitting waiting. Nearby were two fire engines. There was "nothing happening" according to the lady Police officer. I did wonder what would have happened if someone had dialled 999 from here, with all three services within hailing distance who would have attended?
