Opis:

A Bandeira de Carpina foi elaborada e oficializada por ocasão do seu 45° aniversário de emancipação. Sua idealização foi de Luiz Gomes Correia. Pela primeira vez foi hasteada no dia 11 de setembro de 1973.

Nela constam símbolos da cidade, como o serrote, que lembra o carpina; o leão, em referência ao nome anterior e o brasão ladeado por duas hastes de cana-de-açúcar, principal produção agícola local e de tradição secular.
