Opis:

The former commercial building Zum Hausvoigt at Hausvogteiplatz No. 8-9 in Berlin-Mitte, here the facade on Mohrenstraße, opposite the German Federal Justice Ministry. The house was built 1889 to 1890 by Otto March for several textile companies. The facade was reconstructed in a simplefied version after WWII. In the basement of the house, the vault of the former moat of the Berlin citadel has been preserved. The building is now seat of the Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics. It has been designated as a historic landmark.
