Opis:
Murase Moriyasa was then serving in the 17th motor transport company of the supply regiment as a private second class. He took this photo near the Xiaguan wharf of Nanking. It shows piles of bodies of Chinese laying along the shore of Yangtze River. Most of the dead were civilians. Japanese soldiers burnt these bodies to mop up their crimes.
