Pictured are two Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks, one from Oman (left) and the other from Britain. Their crews admire the desert sunrise whilst awaiting the days activities during Ex Saif Sareea3 in Oman, 2018.Oman has one armoured brigade (MSO) equipped with the Challenger 2, the only other nation to operate the British MBT. Exercise Saif Sareea brought 5,500 UK armed forces together with over 60,000 Omani troops, utilising Air, Sea and Land assets in the Bilateral training exercise in the Omani Desert.
