Photo of Clark Gable, Carole Lombard and Mrs. Elizabeth Peters, the mother of Carole Lombard. It was originally taken after Gable and Lombard returned from their elopement to Kingman, Arizona, on March 31, 1939. The wire service re-issued the photo on January 16, 1942 after the death of Lombard and her mother in a plane crash in Nevada.
