Coat of arms of the former Danish county of Vejle. Adopted 1959. The arms depict the two royal burial mounds in Jelling and appeared on the seal of the old Tørril shire. The axes symbolize the two kings buried in Jelling, Gorm the Old and Harald Bluetooth. The cross indicates that Harold Bluetooth introduced Christianity in Denmark.
