Constantine VII Porphyrogenitus, with Romanus II. 913-959. AV Solidus (20mm, 4.43 g). Constantinople mint. Struck 945-959. Facing bust of Christ, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels / Crowned facing busts of Constantine VII and Romanus II, holding patriarchal cross between them; pellet at base. DOC 15; SB 1751. VF, a few light scratches and marks and a scuff across Christ’s face.
