Cordierite
- Locality: Richmond Soapstone Quarry (Harris Quarry), Richmond, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, USA (Locality at mindat.org)
- Size: cabinet, 18.8 x 18.3 x 11.0 cm
- Cordierite (old classic!)
- Root-beer-colored , classic barrel-shaped cordierite crystals to almos t2 inches. Perhaps a piece only a musem could love, but SO significant for this turn-of-the-1900s locality, for both the stellar condition and the overall size of the plate. I have never seen the like for sale.
