Für das Gemeindewappen wurden die historischen Wappen der ehemaligen Inhaber der Herrschaft Burgbrohl kombiniert, das Wappen des namesgebenden Geschlechts, der Herren von Brohl in Feld 2 und 3, das Wappen der Herren von Braunsberg in Feld 4 und das Wappen der letzten Inhaber, der Herren von Bourscheidt mit vertauschten Farben in Feld 1.
