U.S. Navy Douglas AD-4 Skyraiders from Attack Squadron 55 (VA-55) "Torpcats" fire 127 mm (5 in) HVAR rockets at a North Korean field position on 24 October 1950. VA-55 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 5 (CVG-5) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Valley Forge (CV-45) for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Korea from 1 May to 1 December 1950.
