Opis:

The Berford Cross, Duleek Originally a wayside monument at Downestown, about a mile NW of Duleek. After various moves, erected here, on the road into Duleek from Drogheda, in 1981 by the Duleek Historical Society. Inscription reads: IHS PRAY FOR THE SOULES OF THOMASSINA BERFORD FIRST WIFE TO BERTHELEME MOUR OF DOWANSTOWNE WHO DIED THE 17 OF DECEMBER 1635
