The Tahitian Red-billed Rail (Gallirallus pacificus, synonym: Hypotaenidia pacifica) or Tahiti Rail is a poorly-known extinct species of rail. It once occurred on Tahiti. The other two birds are Hawaiian Rail (Porzana sandwichensis, synonyms: Pennula sandwichensis, Pennula millsi), Hawaiian Spotted Rail, or Hawaiian Crake was a somewhat enigmatic species of diminutive rail that lived on Big Island, Hawaiʻi, but is now extinct.
