This flag is the one worn by the Almohads in the source I posted.

No source proves that the Almohad flag was red with a black and white checkerboard in the middle. The flag associated with the Almohades was that of the city of Marrakech under the Merinid era, the author of the book "Libro del Conosçimiento" from which comes the red checkered flag associated with the Almohades explains that this flag was that of Marrakech during the Merinid era.

While the red flag with a chahada in the middle is the one that we find in many paintings dating from the Almohad period, including the painting that you will find in my source.
