SAN DIEGO (Aug. 22, 2012) The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Cape St. George (CG 71) approaches the pier of its Naval Base San Diego homeport. Cape St. George completed a nine-month deployment during which it supported Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 9 in the U.S. 5th, 6th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
