Opis:

Foehn Effect wich is moist air forced above and obstacle like a mountain by the wind. The cooling is dry adiabat (around 10 C/km) until saturation then moist adiabat (variable with height but on average around 6 c/km)until the top of the obstacle. On the other side, the rate of temprature change is dry adiabat. --- Effect de Foehn où l'air est soulevé par le vent au-dessus d'un obstacle. Le taux de décroissance de la température est celui de l'adiabatique sèche (environ -10C/km) jusqu'au niveau de saturation puis celui adiabatique humide jusqu'au sommet de l'obstacle (variable avec la pression mais de moyenne de -6C/km).
