British aircraft carrier HMS Hermes (right) and heavy cruiser HMS Dorsetshire while escorting convoy US.3, which was carrying Australian and New Zealand soldiers to the United Kingdom. The photo was taken during the leg from Freetown in Sierra Leone to its final destination in the Clyde River of Scotland.
