House Deputy Speakers Raneo Abu of Batangas and Sharon Garin of Party-list AAMBIS OWA and Secretary-General Atty. Cesar Strait Pareja welcome Members of Parliaments from Thailand and Lao PDR upon their arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) today. The Thai and Lao delegates, headed by H.E. Pornpetch Wichitcholchai and H.E. Madame Pany Yathotou respectively, who are both Presidents of the National Assembly, are in Manila for the 38th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), which will be held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel from September 15-19, 2017 hosted by the House of Representatives. Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez is the AIPA President this year. / PC/ABR
