A memorial wall, on the inside of the Lotus Flower tower, located at Aswan High Dam, Egypt. October 2004. The writing on this wall can be loosely translated to the following: "Through the long years of cooperation, Soviet-Arabic friendship was sculpted and solidified. Friendship as great as the Aswan High Dam itself. Gamal Abdul Nasser" and (corners) "The fight for the highest dam is over and signifies a victory. This victory, is a victory of free people and free will, it's a victory of coordinated scientific endeavour and a victory of great Soviet-Arabic friendship, a victory of free world and progress. Anwar Sadat".
