Opis:
The church is on a hill northeast of the City. It's spire is 50 metres high and can be seen for miles around. It replaced the earlier St Giles Church. A contribution to the cost of its construction was made by James Henry Monk, Bishop of Gloucester and Bristol. He lived at Stapleton Palace in the village for several years. The Palace is now part of nearby Colston's School.
