Johan and Mimmi Sahlberg Johan Reinhold Sahlberg (6 June, 1845, Helsinki – 8 May 1920, Helsinki) was a Finnish entomologist and is shown with an insect collecting net. Mimmi has a vasculum over her shoulder reflecting her interest in botany. The photograph was taken in 1873 before they left for a honeymoon field trip to Kuusamo. Photo Antero Saalas.
