Opis:

Jeannie Longo is shown here about 1 km below the finish line in the Rupert to Pomerelle Road Race (stage 4 of the 2000 Women's Challenge cycle race). Longo finished in first place in that stage, slightly over 2 and 1/2 minutes ahead of the second place finisher. She is wearing the red points jersey signifying that she was the overall points leader at this stage of the race. Her bike sports the number 1 as the result of her winning the previous year's edition of the Women's Challenge race and was thus the defending champion when this photo was taken (2000).
